We limit collection and use of personal or individual information to what is necessary to administer our business and provide you with the highest quality service. We do not release members' telephone numbers, email address or any other direct contact information, credit card numbers, checking account numbers, or any other confidential personal information. Our policy is to not disclose information to any third parties unless it is strictly necessary to provide the goods or services you have purchased, or required to do so by law or legal process (e.g., a subpoena) served on us. We, at our sole discretion, reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy in extraordinary circumstances on a case-by-case basis if necessary to protect our business interests or the general safety of the community.

• If you sign up for one or more of our newsletters, we collect your email address for the purpose of sending you the information you requested.
• If you sign up to become a member of this site, we will collect and use such data as is necessary to provide you with the services you have requested.
• If you purchase goods or services from us, we collect sufficient data to complete the transaction: We only retain credit card or other payment information in association with a particular order, for verification in case of returns, refunds, or billing questions. The information is encrypted before being written into our database for your security. Consequently, you have to enter your name, credit card number and expiration, or checking account numbers, each time you make a purchase - whether for one item or a hundred.
• We log page access information for analysis of page popularity and visitation trends.
• We also record the IP address you connect from when you sign up for an account, or undertake a financial transaction. This is done for your protection, and to help us insure the integrity of our system.
• If we contact you for marketing purposes, or you receive a newsletter from us, you have the option of requesting that we stop sending you such emails via a link in the email you receive. We honor and promptly process all such opt-out requests.
• Any personally identifiable information we collect is used only for our internal business operations. We do not sell or rent our member, customer, or visitor records to any other persons or business entities.

Please Note: PuzzleByFred.com, PhotoByFred.com, LimitedEditionPhoto.com and PosterByFred.com are all part of the same business entity. Consequently, membership information entered on one of the sites is accessible through all of them. (Order information is separately maintained.)

About "cookies:" When you visit this site, we return a piece of data, commonly called a "cookie" or a "magic cookie," which is stored on your system. The cookie contains a session identifier that is only relevant on this site. The cookie does not contain any other information, and is not used for any other purpose.

In order to use this site effectively, you must at least enable "session" cookies within your browser. The session identifier stored within the cookie is required for you to be able to log in and move from page to page within the site. The session also keeps track of puzzles you looked at to make your browsing experience smoother, and the contents of your shopping cart.
